Declaration of Anna Sisemore widow of
William Sisemore Decd

On this 25th day of June A.D. 1872. Personally appeared before me a Justice of the peace for Breathitt County in the state of Kentucky. Anna
Sisemore Aged 66 years a resident of the county and state aforesaid who being duly sworn according to law Declares that she is married,
that her Husbands name to home she was married, was William Sisemore. That they was married at the house of William
Begly in the county of Perry in the state of Kentucky on the 19th day of November in the year 1824 by a Baptist Preacher by the name of
John Gilbert. Full proof which is on record in the Perry County Court in the state of Kentucky. that her husband William Sisemore
served the Full Term of sixty days in the service of the united States in the war of 1812. that he was the Identical william Sisemore who was a
Private in Company of Capt. Blankinship of Lee County in the state of Virginia and was Honerably Discharged at Norfolk as well as
she recolects in 1813. that she at no time during the ???? Rebelion against the authority of the united States adheared to the Cause of the Enemies
of the Government, giveing them aid or comfort or exercised the function of any office what ever under any autherity or pretended autherity in
hostility to the united States. That she is not in receipt of a Pension under any previous act and that she will support the constitutiion of the
united States. That she makes this Declaration for the purpose of being placed on the Pension Roll of the united

States under the provisions of the act of the Congress of the united States approved the 14th February 1871. and that she hereby Constitutes and appoints David K. Butler of Jackson in the County of Breathitt in the state of Ky her true and lawfull attorney to prosecute her Claim and obtain the Pension certificate which may ???? that her Post office is at Jackson in the county of Breathitt state of Kentucky. That her Domacile or place of abode is in the county of Breathitt in the state of Ky about 12 miles S. E. from Jackson. that in consequence of old age & Bodily Infirmity and being almost blind she is unable to attend before the Clerk of the Court to make her Declaration. She Further Declares that her deceased husband william Sisemore through his attorny John Hargis of Jackson Ky has previous to his death has prosecuted his claim fer land allowed soldiers of the war of 1812 under a former act of Congress of the united States & procused the same which may be seen by Refferance to the proper office of the Department of the government.

Above Personally appeared before me John Keen and W. M. Keen Residents of the County of Breathitt in the state of Kentucky Persons whom I certify Reputible and entitled to credit & who being by me duly sworn say they were present and saw the Claimant sign by making her mark to the

Foregoing Declaration that they have every Reson to believe from the appearance of the said Claimant and these with her that she is the Identical person she represents her self to be that at no time during the late Rebellion against the authority of the united States did she adhere to the Cause of the Enemy of the Government, giving them aid or Comfort and that they have no Intruse in the prosecution of this claim
Subscribed and sworn to before me this 25th day June 1872. and I here by Certify that the Contents of the above Declaration and joint affidavit were read over to , and fully Explained & made Known to the several parties before signing the same and that I have no Intrust in the Claim of anna Sisemore

for the county and state afore said that his Signature as it appears above is ginuine and that all his official acts as such is Intitled to full
faith and credit - that Anna Sisemore the applicant for Pension and the witnesses to the Joint affidavit are credable persons and Reside as they
state. I also certify that I have no Intrust in the above Claim. Given from under my hand & seal of office the day & date above
written.
