SARAH ISAACS, daughter of Jacob Bowman, one of the earliest settlers of the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. She made this country her home most all her life, living on Buck Creek nearly all the while. She had been a member of the Missionary Baptist Church for nearly thirty years. She passed away in her 74th year on March 31, 1886.
