Jackson and Lydia Fox Gilbert

 

My brick all is Jackson Gilbert. Jackson and Lydia Fox Gilbert were in Breathitt Co. Ky. in 1850 living with eight children and a niece of Lydia. The census records shows that Jackson was born in TN. not sure where? Also, not sure of when he was born but I think that it was between 1815 and 1820.

 

Jackson is buried at the Cortland Cemetery in Owsley Co. Ky. Our family is assuming that Lydia is also buried there but haven't been able to find a headstone and we don't know the exact date of Lydia's birth or death. I do have a copy of the marriage bond and it shows that they were born in Estill Co. Ky. on July 9, 1837.
